A network of independent eye care professionals, united to offer excellence since 1996
Since its founding in May 1996, Opto-Réseau has had the mission of preserving and developing the independence of optometrists and opticians in Quebec. At the time, 11 clinics decided to pool their resources in order to preserve their independence, provide exemplary eye care, and offer the products best suited to the needs of their patients. Today, nearly 30 years later, the network includes 86 clinics across the province and over 900 employees and self-employed workers who share the same values and vision.
Independence: An Asset for Patients:
Over the years, Opto-Réseau’s independent model has shown that the autonomy of professionals is synonymous with quality. Like a local independent business, the clinic owners have complete decision-making freedom, without external constraints, while benefiting from the collective expertise of the network. This freedom allows them to maintain a close relationship with patients, while fostering collaboration between optometrists and opticians to ensure optimal service.
Entrusting Your Eye Health to the Team of an Independent Clinic: What Are the Benefits?
1. Personalized Care, Tailored to Each Individual
Optometrists and opticians at independent clinics take the time to understand each patient's specific needs. They can recommend the best solutions tailored to their lifestyle, offering attentive service that truly makes a difference.
2. A Wide and High-Quality Product Selection
Independent professionals choose the products they offer themselves, ensuring a selection of stylish, modern, and high-quality frames, lenses, and accessories. This freedom allows for the offering of innovative and often exclusive solutions, perfectly suited to each visual need.
3. Impartial Advice, Focused on the Health of Your Eyes
Patients receive objective advice, without commercial pressures. The optometrist can recommend solutions that prioritize eye health above all, free from external influences or commercial constraints.
4. A Community-Oriented Experience
Independent clinics are actively engaged in their local communities. For example, they may participate in local projects or support initiatives aimed at improving regional well-being. This local presence ensures accessible care and an understanding of the specific needs of each community.
5. Flexible Hours for Greater Accessibility
Many independent clinics offer flexible hours, including evening appointments and sometimes even weekends, to accommodate the needs of patients.
