Materials used to produce eco-friendly frames include bioplastics, recycled acetate, and bio-sourced cellulose acetate. This is the case for some models of the Dragon and Lacoste lines which are made from biodegradable plastic and glass bottles.

For its part, bio-sourced acetate is made of cellulose from renewable, organic sources including cottonseed, wood fibres, and bioplastics.
