OPTO-RÉSEAU INTERVIEWS CATHERINE GOSSELIN

We recently had the opportunity to meet with content creator Catherine Gosselin as part of a collaboration between Nikon and Transitions. Catherine has been wearing strong prescription lenses for several years and was able to test SeeMax Infinite lenses, high-end lenses that deliver a very sharp vision. She was also able to try out Transition lenses for the first time, a practical 2-in-1 solution.

Catherine is someone who is passionate and believes style should be both practical and comfortable. When we sat down with her, we took the opportunity to find out more about her experience with Opto-Réseau.

WHO IS CATHERINE?

If you aren’t familiar with Catherine Gosselin, you’ll soon discover an extremely charming individual. We wanted to know more about who she is beyond her role as a content creator. Fun fact, she has a tattoo of a small chili pepper that represents her caliente side. She’s also afraid of birds.

As the temperatures drop, our thoughts turn to cozy, indoor activities. We asked Catherine what her favourite autumnal activities were. “I love sipping on a pumpkin spice latte while watching a Harry Potter movie on TV. With the window cracked open to let in a nice fall breeze.”

OUR MEETING

When Catherine visited the Centre visuel Bardier Godin in Sorel-Tracy, our team of eyecare experts were on site to help her benefit from a personalized try-on session. Once she picked her frames, we determined which Transition lenses would pair well with her frames and her personal style. Catherine chose Gucci model GG09580, colour 005, with amber lenses.

LET’S TALK STYLE

Catherine uses her social media channels to give her followers an authentic look into her daily life. She also shares her casual looks, perfect for her lifestyle as a busy mom. Our team also wanted to find out about her outfit of choice. Catherine’s favourite look is an oversized shirt, leggings, white socks (mandatory), and a beautiful pair of sunglasses. In other words, a comfortable yet aesthetic look.

In closing, we asked Catherine what would make 15-year-old Catherine the proudest about her life today? “Knowing I listened to my gut and wasn’t afraid to pursue my passion.”
