A spotlight on NIFTIES frames
Did you know that 10% of adults have a small or thin face? This might not seem like a big deal but having a small face can make it hard to find frames that fit comfortably. That’s where NIFTIES eyewear comes in. Say goodbye to shopping for frames in the kids’ section and explore a large collection of high-quality frames designed for adults with fine facial features.
NIFTIES: a lot of character in a small frame
Do you have a narrow face and have trouble finding a pair of frames that looks good on you? That will be a thing of the past with NIFTIES.
The NIFTIES collection, which was inspired by Danish design, was specifically created for small faces and features prescription glasses and sunglasses in sizes 44 to 49.
NIFTIES frames are the embodiment of minimalism and timelessness. Available in a range of colours and styles, the frames are built using a combination of materials such as titanium, acetate, and metal to deliver results that are not only visually striking but resistant and comfortable.
Just like the name states, NIFTIES is all about being… nifty! They’re a brand focused on clever, smart design with frames that are innovative and trendy.
Even though the brand is all about producing eyewear for thin faces, they also offer several oversized models, a trend that has gained in popularity recently.

How to find the right pair of frames for your small face
When shopping for glasses, you might have heard about the importance of facial morphology. Finding comfortable, fashionable eyewear is a lot easier when you know which frames suit your facial features. To find out more about facial types, check out our article on the topic here.
Besides the shape of your face, there are other factors you should keep in mind when shopping for frames.
- Your eyes should be in the middle upper part of the lenses and your eyebrow should be right above the frame. See the image below for an example.
- But be careful! If your eyes are closer together, you might want to try thinner, rounded frames. NIFTIES has plenty of smaller frames for thin faces.
- Comfort should come first. Frames will be adjusted (but not too tightly) around your temples and should rest on your nose and both ears. If your frames are too big, your glasses might tend to slip and will be uncomfortable to wear because most of the weight will be resting on your nose.
- Finally, to make sure the frames aren’t too big, check the width of the frames. It should be equal (or nearly) to the width of your face between your ears.
